About the Founder

My name is Rodger Constandse and I am the founder and chief editor of this website and creator of the Goal Setting Challenge.

I'm also the CEO of Effexis Software, LLC, author of the time management eBook "Master Your Time", and principal developer of the Achieve Planner software system.

I've been interested in personal development since I was in college and have read hundreds of books, listened to audio tapes, and attended seminars.

I have worked in the goal setting and time management fields for the past five years and want to use this website to share my expertise and experience.

I hope you'll join us and make a valuable contribution to the community.

What's With the Name?

I'm sure many will ask where the name "KSuccess" came from. The 'K' represents "Kaizen," a Japanese philosophy based on the idea that small positive changes taken in a spirit of continuous improvement can, over time, add up to make an exceptional difference.

Many people never begin their personal development journey because they see it as an all or nothing deal. As I explain further in this article, I believe that the Kaizen approach is a great way to get started with personal development, as well as a philosophy that can serve you for the rest of your life.

The Kaizen approach to personal development is not about "fixing" something wrong with yourself or your life, it is about enhancing your life in a spirit of balance and continuous improvement with the aim of helping you grow, expand your horizons, and reach your full potential as a human being.
